The graduate of Brest football school is one of the most talented players of Dynamo and the whole League.
In autumn 2015, Pavel Sedko made an unexpected debut for our club against Dinamo Minsk, and managed to score the only goal in that game. He was 17 years and 184 days old!
Everyone hoped for a breakthrough season-2016, taking into consideration Sergey Kovalchuk's faith in youth. Pavel could become the part of the main team.
- It seems like yesterday, when I was seating on the stands and watching Dynamo's play, dreaming to play for the team, and today I am here, - recollects Pavel that time.
Sedko started the season as a part of the first team and even tried the captain's armband on: "During the game against Belshina, Demeshko gave his armband to me, which was a great surprise. After I had felt it on my arm, the emotions overwhelmed me, I felt the boost of my fighting spirit. I desperately wanted to help the team somehow: to score a goal or to create a chance for my partners. In my childhood I dreamt to be Dynamo's captain, but I didn't expect my dream to come true so fast".
During summer, the young midfielder was plagued by injuries, and because of them Pavel had to miss training camp in Poland and fell out of the main team. After he returned to full training, Pavel started to gain form in the Reserves' team, but managed to receive a red card during one of the game for the second squad and got a four-match ban.
After serving the ban, our number 17 started to get himself back, to receive more attention from the Head Coach and finally returned to the first squad by the end of the season.
According to Sedko's words, the brightest spot of the last season is qualification with Under-19 National team to the Elite Round of European Championship, which makes start this spring.
During one of the interviews, Pavel set ambitious objects: "I think, every sportsman must set maximum goals for him. My aim is the champion's title with my native club. We have everything, what is needed: fans, infrastructure, supporters".
We are looking forward to see the realization of the dream.
