Before the grand opening of the Academy Pavel Hasenevich has shared his goals and tasks of the newly created organization.
- The management has set a clear goal to create an academy of an average European level. We have decided to start building a hostel for the youth on our training ground in Krasny Dvor. Also it is scheduled to build a number of fields with artificial surface, including one under the roof. The hotel will contain living areas, dining area and medical and recreation centre. We have already laid a new artificial pitch on “Yunost” stadium, which will be training ground for our kids; rented apartments to be used as a boarding school for nonresident youth and we have an agreement with a neighboring school for the learning and training process to be held in one place. All this will serve for the development of younger generation. We don’t want to lose the precious time while the construction of the main infrastructure is not fully performed, and make the opening right now.
In November we start receiving the kids from all the country. There will be two coaches in each age group. Moreover, we are planning to hire the specialists from abroad. Now we are in talks with them. This will be narrow-profile specialists: physical and technical coaches, goalkeeping coaches, acrobatics and dance coaches.
Also we have created a position of the Head Coach of the Academy and we are looking for a foreign specialist to fit this position. Now we have two candidates and very soon we shall take the final decision. He will supervise the jobs of all youth coaches. Also this specialist will elaborate a detailed program and set the goals of work. Also we shall have a scouting department to scout and track the talented youth all over the country. There will also be positions of Head Physio, who will fully control the health of the youngsters, physio, recreation therapist and a psychologist.
- What is the global aim of the Academy?
- The main goal while working with young footballers is the upbringing of a healthy individual in biological, psychological and social meaning. Only fully developed individual can reach high goals. The sporting goals have a forward-looking character. The true achievements of a coach should not be measured by the quantity of competition awards, but by the number of players who managed to break into the first squad and national team. Every coach of our Academy must know the principal stages of biological, psychological and social development of a young personality, possess managerial and pedagogical skills, have an ability to detect a mistake in working process and find the possibility to correct it, be initiative and always be within training process. Every young player is an individuality. It is highly important to respect the peculiar qualities of every player and not to press him to adopt your own “model” at all costs. The properly developed basics of physical, technical, tactical and other kinds of schooling are the main fundamentals for reaching the highest results.
