FC Dynamo Brest is a Belarussian football club from Brest, the participant of all sovereign Belarussian football championships.
The club was founded in 1960 under the name Spartak and was immediately included into Soviet Second League. Two years later, after reorganization of the championship, the club had been taking participation in the Third League until 1969, when the team achieved promotion. In 1972, Spartak Brest was renamed into Bug, and 4 years later – into Dynamo. From 1970 and until the collapse of USSR, the Brest team participated in the Third League of USSR championship.
