Artem Bykov – new midfielder of Dynamo Brest

On 13 August the 25-year-old midfielder signed contract until January 2020.

Bykov started his career in Zvezda-BGU. In 2011 he moved to Dinamo Minsk to play for the second team. The first half of 2012 he spent on loan in Bereza-2010, after which started making more appearances for the first Dinamo team.

Artem established himself as a first-team defensive midfielder in 2013. On 26 October 2013 he scored his first goal in the league, having pegged a long-shot strike against Gomel. In 2014 he remained as the first choice for Minsk team, sometimes playing as a wide midfielder. On 20 July 2014 he got a serious injury in the game against Dynamo Brest after a challenge from Luben Nikolov, but returned to full training in November.

Artem started the season-2015 as a main midfielder, but didn’t show his best performance after the injury. In August 2015 he was loaned by FC Minsk, where played as a left midfielder. Bykov returned to Dinamo in the end of the season.

The season-2016 he spent as a first-team player of Dinamo, sometimes appearing as a central defender. In 2017 Artem played as a central midfielder, but later was moved to the left flank of defense. In January 2018 he prolonged the contract with Dinamo, but in August 2018 terminated it on mutual agreement.
