We had huge problems with realization in the game against Slavia, just like in previous match, we’ve created enough chances. The opponents didn’t wish to play forward, they parked the bus, and it’s hard to break such a defense. Nevertheless, this is our problem. So we don’t have to blame the fate or the referee… Such a result is the consequence of our mistakes.
You’ve released another forward already in added time. What chance did he have to change the game?
Surely, it was hard for Alex Khoblenko, but this substitution I used to have another player in the box, who could do more actions and score. There were moments, but their realization… We are working on it, but will work even harder. Teams, which sit deep in defense can score after a set piece or after a counter – that’s it, they get three points.
Have you told Gutor to join the team at the last corner or that was his idea?
Indeed, it was my decision, as a draw is a poor result for us. He could help.
Why Savitskiy has been substituted by Noyok, not Fameyeh?
I released Noyok, as he has nice long shot, and Bykov is a versatile player, he can play wide. In my opinion, Noyok did well, making dangerous shots.
Was it the same Milevskiy in the last two games?
Indeed, Artem Milevskiy had better games. But he has nice passes, which can be key ones, so I haven’t replaced him. Moreover, he always covers one-two players, which offers more space on the pitch.
The two defensive midfielders Bykov and Noyok are similar, they play well together, and Kislyak’s position force one of them out… What can you tell about the trio?
Indeed, Noyok and Bykov have had many games together here, and in Dinamo Minsk before, but Kislyak is also a very strong player. He doesn’t have such energy as Bykov and Noyok, but he’s very clever, can give nice one-touch passes. As for today’s game, Noyok has just recovered after an injury, so there were Kislyak – Bykov in starting eleven. In general, it’s nice to have such a wide choice.
