The contract of the famous British specialist, who has been working with elder Academy teams, is mutually terminated.
Blackmore highlighted the details of his leave and summed up his work specially for FCDB TV:
- I’ve spent wonderful 10 months in Brest. Belarus is a beautiful country with friendly people. The coaching staff of both Academy and main team achieved fantastic progress. Everyone works in one direction and this brings results. It’s a great honor and priceless experience to be its part. I hope I also brought something into.
I need to go home to get a PRO license. It would be very complicated to make it distantly, keeping in mind that the courses repeat every month during two years. Constant trips to Wales would distract me from my work in Brest.
My leave is not a farewell. I’m staying in tight contact with the club and maybe I’ll return to Brest in a couple of years.
More details about Clayton’s departure and summary of his work will be available in “City on Bug” magazine, which will be dedicated to the match against Gomel. Full interview will be published there.
