Yuri Petukhov has been appointed goalkeeping coach of FC Dynamo Brest first team. The 60-year-old specialist has UEFA ‘A’ coaching license.
Yuri is a former pro goalkeeper. He studied in the Minsk-5 Sports School and started his playing career in FC Spartak (Semey, Kazakhstan). Then represented FC Metalist (Kharkiv, Ukraine), FC Dnepr (Mogilev, Belarus), FC Lokomotiv (Kosice, Slovakia).
Yuri Petukhov has a considerable coaching experience. He used to work with goalkeepers in FC Ataka (Minsk), FC BATE (Borisov), FC Moskva, FC Khimki, FC Lokomotiv (Moscow), PFC CSKA (Moscow). He coached goalkeepers of the Russia national youth team, as well as Belarus national team and Belarus national youth team.
Yuri Petukhov has been working in Dynamo Brest since summer 2019. He used to coach the goalkeepers of the reserve team.
